Mission:

To empower youth and emerging leaders across Pacific Island nations to address climate change and environmental resilience through education, service, and international collaboration.

Vision:

A connected Pacific led by local voices, equipped with the tools to protect their environment and cultural heritage.

Core Programs:

Climate Change Youth Fellowships: Paid internships for Pacific Island students focused on environmental policy, advocacy, and local climate solutions. In 2022, interns from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and Tufts University traveled to Kwajalein Atoll to work alongside Marshallese communities and conduct climate risk assessments on Ebadon and Mejatto Islands.

Service Learning in Island Nations: Partner with governments and schools in the RMI and other PI-SIDS for on-the-ground climate resiliency projects, particularly in communities like Ebeye, where health, economic, and environmental pressures drive migration.

Pacific Resilience Summits: Host events to bring together youth leaders, elders, and policy advisors. Leadership Exchanges: Facilitate travel and virtual exchanges between youth in Hawaiʻi and affiliated island nations.
